AI Poem Generator Website Image

A.I. Poem Generator

This project helped me learn about AI and its functionalities. The webpage uses prompts to provide instructions to AI tools similar to ChatGPT. I learned how to integrate AI APIs, build an interactive text generator, and practice incorporating CSS concepts into JavaScript. This project was completed as part of the SheCodes AI Add-on Workshop.

World Clock

This project allowed me to explore more advanced JavaScript coding, focusing on timing events, date formats, and time zones. I also practiced planning and setting up a functional workflow for creating live webpages, along with integrating APIs and displaying collected data. This project was completed as part of the SheCodes Plus Add-on Workshop.

Building this webpage helped me delve into advanced coding, including HTML forms, flexbox, fonts, positioning, advanced CSS selectors, JS strings, math, arrays, loops, objects, functions, parameters, function returns, dates, selectors, events, and forms. I also learned about API integration, AJAX, Git, GitHub, hosting, Netlify, project planning, and debugging. This was my very first live webpage, built from scratch with no additional frameworks or libraries. It was completed during the SheCodes Plus Workshop.

Australian Oz-Tag

This project enabled me to explore advanced CSS properties such as background properties, gradients, transform properties, grids, and class manipulation, all of which can change the styling of a page in real time with the help of JavaScript. We were assigned to create a webpage based on a hobby, and I chose Australian Oz Tag, a sport I love. This project was completed as part of the SheCodes Basics Add-on Workshop.

Delicious Budget Cravings

This was my very first landing page, where I learned how to structure a page in HTML, style it using CSS, and animate it with JavaScript. I also became familiar with developer tools, coding editors, and the fundamentals of coding. For this landing page, I showcased some of my favorite places to eat in Sydney, Australia, and created a mock food delivery service with email notifications using JavaScript prompts, if/else statements, query selectors, event listeners, and functions. This project was completed as part of the SheCodes Basics Workshop.

This project was coded by Christine Del Rosario and is open-sourced on GitHub and is hosted on Netlify.
